Later, Gator!
Greetings everyone. I am here today with the June 2017 Challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu where the theme is "add a touch of pink or purple to your project." I hope that you will pop on over to Eclectic Ellapu to see what the design team has dreamed up for you and then create and share a project of your own. For my project, I stamped a flamingo and alligator by Stampotique and added Brushos and a sentiment, also by Stampotique. I enjoyed making this one! Hugs, Yvonne

I wish you a Merry Christmas!
Greetings! It's time, once again, for another challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu! For the month of November, the Pink Team Challenge is to create any project with a "bow" on it. I decided to create a Christmas card with some images from Oxford Impressions that have never been inked before. The background was done with Brushos. I hope you will stop over to check out the wide variety of projects at Eclectic Ellapu, and then consider sharing a project of your own with us. Thanks for stopping by!
Best, Yvonne

Vintage Christmas Charm
Greetings faithful followers! I am somewhat late with this post for the October challenge for the pink team over at Eclectic Ellapu where the theme is "Shabby Chic or Vintage." My card was made using a water color panel with Brushos Color Crystals. The images are from Oxford Impressions and the snowflakes are from my stash. I hope you will stop over to see the wide variety of inspiration pieces and then consider making a piece of your own to share with all of us. Thanks for stopping by.

What if I Fall?
Greetings! Back with another card this evening for the current challenge over at Our Creative Corner. I thought I had posted a card earlier, but in looking through Mr. Linky, it appears not! The challenge, Color Your World, is to create a project using colors that remind us of spring. I began by sprinkling Brusho Crystals that remind me of spring onto water color paper and spritzing with water. The house and tree by Artistic Outpost in the background were stamped with Black Archival Ink onto tissue paper and adhered to the panel. The bird by Red Lead Paperworks was stamped directly onto the water color panel and colored in lightly with Towbow Markers. The little girl and sentiment are clip art imagery by Gecko Galz. A bit of washi tape by 3M and Black Ink by Dr. PH Martin dropped on the card panel complete my card. Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Yvonne
Thin Ice...
Greetings! My post today is to showcase a card I made for the new challenge over at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge where the theme is "Make Your Own Background." To create the background, I used a water color panel and sprinkled Brusho Crystals on it and then sprayed with water. When it was dry I added the washi tape by Scarlet Lime, some dots from a stamp by Dina Wakely dipped in Silks Acrylic Paint and then doodled around the perimeter with a black pen. The image is from FlonzCraft and the sentiment is by Dylusions. Thanks for stopping by! Hugs, Yvonne

April Showers
Happy Monday everyone! Back today with a card I created for two challenges. The first is for the new challenge over at Make My Monday where the theme is April Showers. My card was also created for the challenge over at Mixed Media Monthly Challenge, which is also looking for projects with a theme of April Showers.
To create my card, I began with a piece of hot press water color paper. I added Brusho Cyrstals in four colors to the card and spritzed with water. When dry, I stamped raindrops by Designs by Ryn, repeatedly over the card panel. A bit of white ink was added to each drop to make them glisten! A strip of Washi Tape by Scarlet Lime was added to the bottom of the card panel. The focal image is by Unity Stamps and was stamped on scrap card, fussy cut and colored with TowBow Markers and mounted to the card panel. The sentiment, by Oxford Impressions was stamped on scrap card and secured to the card panel with washi tape from 3M. The panel was matted with black paper and attached to a card blank.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I truly appreciate every visit and thoroughly enjoy your comments. Hugs, Yvonne

Butterflies
Greetings! So lovely of you to drop by my blog! My post today is for the April Challenge for the Pink Team over at Eclectic Ellapu. The theme this month is: Out of Your Comfort Zone. I decided this would be a great time to push myself to try my new box of Brusho Crystals. It is also my first try using Hot Press water color paper. The focal image is by Red Lead Paperworks and the washi tape is by Scarlet Lime and 3M. I cannot wait to use the Brusho Crystals again! What makes you uncomfortable? Why not give our challenge a go? For inspiration, please see what the rest of the Pink Team took on that was out of their comfort zone. Hugs, Yvonne
