Red, Blue and Yellow...

Greetings and thank you for your faithful visits to my blog! Back today with a card I made for the newest challenge of "Primary Colors" for Inkspirational.  I hope you will stop over to see all the varied (and stunning) work created to inspire you by the rest of the Design Team and then create a piece of your very own to share with us.

I must say that I cannot remember the last time that I worked in primary colors....I began with red and yellow Brusho Crystals and sprayed water on them on water color paper.  The images are all by Stampotique and were colored in the Towbow Markers. Loving the new Ranger Enamels used to accent my card.  Thanks for stopping by.

Best, Yvonne

Heaps of Pearls

Greetings! Back again with a post for the new challenge over at Fashionable Stamping Challenge, where the new theme is "Resist."

I cannot remember the last time I created a piece using resist.  I really struggled, and almost gave up and then realized I was trying to use too heavy of inks. Once I broke out my sorely neglected Distress Ink Pads the images finally revealed! The shells are by Red Lead Paperworks, and the stenciled coral is also by Red Lead, as are the sentiments.

I hope you will stop over to see what the rest of the design team has cooked up for you and then consider creating a piece of your own to share with us. Remember, one lucky participant will win a gift voucher from our sponsor, Flonzcraft.

Thanks for stopping by! Yvonne

Sunshine and Happiness

Greetings! It's time again for a new challenge over at Inkspirational.  This time, we are to use patterned or designer paper with an optional twist of stamping onto the patterned paper.

I hope you will stop over to see the fabulous, and varied, samples that the Design Team have dreamed up to inspire you.  For my own card, I began with a discarded panel from another project that wasn't working for me.  It was colorized with Gelatos. I tore up strips of designer paper and adhered them to the top and bottom of the panel. The bunny girl by Stampotique was stamped on white card and several different pieces of designer paper and then paper pieced together onto the panel. I added a Kate Crane image for Stampotique to the background panel and then colored the images in with TowBow Markers and Posca Pens. The chit chat stickers complete my panel, which was matted and adhered to the card base. Thanks as always for stopping by.  I really appreciate your visits. Best, Yvonne
