Boo!

Greetings! It is time again for a new challenge over at Inkspirational! The theme: Cute Halloween.  If you are not into Halloween, you can still join in by making a project with an Owl or Pumpkin instead. 

For my card, I used some background paper and then stamped several vintage inspired Halloween stamps, which I thought were cute onto scrap card.  I colored them in softly with Gelatoes, distressed the edges and matted them and added them to the card front.  The chip board letters are by Tim Holtz and the ribbon and buttons are from my stash.  I hope you will stop by Inskpirational to see the inkspiring work of the rest of the Design Team and then submit a project of your own!

Changing Seasons

 

Greetings! It is time once again for the latest challenge at Fashionable Stamping Challenge! Our theme this time around is "Changing Seasons." Isn't autumn a beautiful time of year? I love pulling out my cozy sweaters and corduroys! For my own sample, I began by spraying fall colors of Dylusions Ink Sprays onto a water color panel and spritzing with water.  The focal image and sentiment are by Unity Stamps.  The girl is colored with TowBow Markers.  The acorns are from Red Lead Paperworks and the bark is from my yard! Greetings! It's good to back with another sample for the latest challenge over at Inkspirational! Our them this time is the word prompt "Glow."  Lots of ways to interpret this one.  Just take a look at all the samples by the Design Team to get some great ideas and we hope you will share one of your own with us as well.

 

For my own card, I worked with a base of water color panels and colorized them with several shades of Dylusions Ink Sprays.  The sentiment, focal image, stencil, cat and wood disk are all by Red Lead Paperworks.

Getting Ready for Halloween

 

Greetings and thank you for stopping by my blog today.  Today, I share my cards for Gecko Galz with you, with mixed emotions.  I have decided to step down from the GG Design Team and this is my last set of design samples.  I love GG designs and will truly miss being a part of GG, but will always hold GG dear to my heart. 

 

 

The samples were made using background papers from the Freak Show paper pack, images from Halloween is for Kids, Halloween Night and Wicked Words clip art images.  Rubber stamps are from Red Lead Paperworks.

High Heels

 

Greetings! My post tonight is for the newest challenge over at Fashionable Stamping Challenge where the theme is to "use a quote or sentiment." I began with a water color panel and added some Bister crystals to the panel and spritzed with water and let dry. I overstamped the focal image, by Artistic Outpost and then stamped the sentiment by Dyan Reaveley onto scrap card, trimmed and mounted it to the panel. I drew a border free-hand and matted the panel and added it to a card base. Greetings! My post today is for the new challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu for the Pink Team where "Anything Goes!"  I have really been bit by the Mixed Media Bug and wanted to try to use some of my newer stamp images from Stampotique and Kate Crane.  The background is a Traci Bautista Stencil by Stencil Girls that was spritzed with water after sprinkling on Color Burst Crystals.  The stencil was then turned upside down and more color was applied to the panel.  The hand carved images by Kate Crane were dipped in paint and added next.  The angel and sentiment were stamped on scrap card, trimmed, colored with TowBow Markers and adhered to the panel as shown  Touches of gold paint by Golden were added.  The panel was matted with black paper and added to a card base.
