Remember Shirtwaist Dresses?

Greetings! It's time for a new challenge over at Inkspirational! Since there is a fifth week in July, that means our theme is "Anything Goes."
For my own card, I decide to work with two focal images, three women in shirtwaist dresses by FlonzCraft and a coat rack by KaiserCraft.  A bit of blue lace and a variety of buttons complete my card.

Our sponsor for July is A Day For Daisies and one lucky winner will win a Gift Card for $12 or three Digis.  We look forward to seeing what you create! Thanks for stopping by.  Hugs, Yvonne

Fabulous retro image of the three women, and the hat rack works brilliantly with them. Another treat of a card, Yvonne.

I sure do remember shirt waist dresses. It is so odd to think of my earlier years as retro. Your card is wonderful!

A great combination of images and embellishments for a retro feel - I like it! Being born during the second half of the 1970s I don't remember these dresses as such, but a few years ago these dresses became popular again for a little while. Having always loved the retro style I tried some, but they did nothing for my body, I must admit. And I'm no fan of ironing:)

My mum had loads of patterns for dresses like this and she taught me to sew so this brings back many happy memories Yvonne. Love the design too. Great balance of elements. Hugs, Jenny x
