Greetings! I have been away from home nearly three weeks! It has been fun in some respects, but I do miss having all my craft goodies close at hand! We had seven inches of rain fall today! So...I decided to work on my art a bit. I had brought my Gelli Printing Plate along with me, but had not had a chance to use it in nearly a year. I made a number of backgrounds with acrylic paints and stencils, one of which I used to create the card above. The sentiment/definition by Red Lead was stamped on white card stock and dredged with Peeled Paint and Broken China Distress Ink. The stencil by Andy Skinner was painted with Broken China Distress Paint, trimmed and added to the card front. A selection of buttons were added for dimension, along with Black Liquid Pearls. Thanks for dropping by today. Best, Yvonne

7" of rain in a day?? That is more than what we have had in the last two years, but perfect weather conditions for getting all crafty! Love this page and the background is perfect for the stenciled lady! So cool! Enjoy the weekend!
To me this is like a little piece of art! The inked background looks fabulous, and I love the stenciled silhouette woman. The buttons work really well too, they add dimension and brings forth the details of the colors of the background in a beautiful way.
Fabulous card Yvonne, love the background and the stencilled lady. For a change we are basking in 30 degrees C heat which is lovely. Just wish I had a pool to cool off in.
Enjoy the weekend.
