Yes, I know Christmas is over, and I have truly enjoyed moving on to Valentine's Day cards. I recently came across a Challenge Site called 52 Christmas Card Throw Down, which encourages you to create a Christmas Card each week in preparation for next Christmas. My husband and I send out approximately 300 cards, and no matter my intentions, I always get behind. I am thinking about trying this challenge, with a bit of a twist, if I create six more of each week's cards, even if I miss a few weeks, I should have my cards for next year. How life unravels throughout 2013 will determine if I accomplish my goal, but the first step is to have the goal, right? The sketch for this week is below.
I certainly will understand if you prefer to skip over my Christmas posts until closer to the season! Thanks for taking the time to read my post. Best wishes, Yvonne

300 cards!! Girl you have found the right challenge to help keep you on track so that you aren't scrambling in December to get a bunch done! What a great vintage image you've used on your beautiful card. Keep 'em coming each week - we love having you join us at 52CCT!
Wow 300 cards now that is a marathon task I thought I did enough at just over 100.
Gorgeous card the image goes so well with the tartan ribbon.

A great idea... every week a Christmas card...
You've send out 300 cards... wow, unbelievable.
Your first card looks fabulous.
No I am not skipping them! I am also going to try this but one a week will be enough of a challenge for me!
I especially love this ribbon x
300?! You crazy lady! I only sent out 60 this year...I thought I was doing good...now I feel I've failed. ;) Just kidding--but I ADORE this one! The Santa image is beautiful and I love the way you've done the sentiment! Thanks for joining us at 52CCT! Hope you join us again next time, too! ;)
