Happy Wednesday everyone! Just a quick post tonight, to share a card I made for my dear son's wife for her birthday. Valerie has always liked horses and went to college for Equestrian Studies. I thought rather than images of horses this year that I would, instead, use this image by Queen's Dresser Drawer Stamps. The sentiments around the edges are from A Muse Stamps. Simple embellishments include a snippet of white burlap from The Funkie Junkie Boutique, vintage buttons, some Baker's Twine, a corrugated cardboard heart, and an Idea-ology flower charm. I hope she likes it! I am entering this post at my DT Sister, Brenda's, blog under Tuesday's Treasures. The treasure on my card are the vintage buttons. Every time I use some of my vanishing stash, I wonder what garment and from who's wardrobe the buttons came. I am always thrilled when friends and family share old buttons with me and consider them treasures, indeed. Thanks for stopping by. Best wishes, Yvonne

Hi Yvonne what a gorgeous card for your daughter-in-law. The stamp is fab, haven't heard of that stamp company before, beautifully embellished. Just perfect for Brenda's Tuesday Treasures. Have a lovely day. It's raining here again, will it ever stop I wonder! XX
Hi Yvonne, this is a gorgeous card. I love the image and the colour scheme. I collect buttons too, so I think they are a perfect addition for your card xx
Gorgeous card, love the details you added.

Oh Yvonne what a lovely card with a fabulous cowboy image which sits perfectly on the vintage red colour.
Thank you so much for linking to my Tuesday Treasures with your special vintage buttons, at least you are using them rather than just looking at them!! Have a wonderful day my friend.
