The nostalgic images featuring a roadside cafe, children from the early 1900's, and Thoreau sentiments will easily mix and stylistically go with so many of Artistic Outpost's other collections including: The Outpost, Home, and Old Grist Mill.
For my card, I began with a Kraft card base. I stamped various images from The Outpost and Home with Black StazOn Ink. I decided that I wanted to create a bit of a Warhol-style card so I stamped the woman from the Kudzu Kafe plate repeatedly in Brick Red, Peeled Paint and Faded Jeans Distress Inks. The sentiments, also from the Kudzu Kafe plate, were layered over top of the images of the women. I LOVE the "ticking" fabric swatch image included in the images and have lots of ideas for using it in the future!
Simple embellishments include vintage buttons, black Scrapper's Floss, vintage black seam binding and a binder clip from Idea-ology. I'll be sharing more pieces with you in the days ahead, however, I hope you will pop over to the rest of the design team for their take on this gorgeous new plate of images.

Absolutely wonderful card! Like the
Andy Warhol style! Great new stamps.
Love the way you mimicked the Andy Warhol style - so perfect for that image and the sentiments for it! And your buttons match - very cool. Terrific release card - way to go, Yvonne!
