Tis Spring
The current challenge over at Crafty Individuals is to create a project using CI images around "Spring in Fashion." I gathered up my CI images and decided to work with CI-147 Butterfly Trio Panel, CI-121 Teasel Collage, and the bird and nest from CI-329 Beautiful Birdcages. When I think of spring, I think of nature. The card base was marbleized with Spun Sugar and Broken China Distress Paints. A layer of white burlap was applied next to soften the tone and set the stage for the delicate colors of nature's fashion parade. The images were all stamped on Sticky Back Canvas and water colored with Distress Markers. Buttons and cheesecloth, some tissue paper tape and a seam binding bow complete my card. Crafty Individuals is a wonderful stamp company. If you have not yet checked them out, I hope you will. They are most generous and always send a package of free images along with your order!
