May your Christmas be Bright

sta
Greetings! It is time, once again, for a new challenge over at Inkspirational! This time, we have a word prompt: Trend

There are all sorts of ways to define "trend" of course, and if you pop on over to Inkspirational, you will see each designer's unique approach. For my own card, I decided to go with a Christmas Card, as we are starting to see a wave of them with the Holidays upon us.

It is unusual for me not to have stamping on my cards, but I recently received a packet of free goodies with an order from Funkie Junkie Boutique and I thought it would be fun to craft a card using the items.  As well, I understand large die cuts are popular just now.

I worked with Magicals by Lindy's Stamp Gang and then layered my pieces on top of the panel before matting and attaching to a card base.

We hope you are inspired to create a trendy project of your own to share with us! Thanks for stopping by! Yvonne

Imagine

Greetings! It is time for a new challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu, and this time the theme is "Anything Goes!" It's an opportunity to pull out one of your uninked stamps and get inky!

For my own project, I colorized a water color background panel a variety of Distress Oxides and a new to me stencil by Donna Downey. The images on the background and the focal images are from a set by Katzelkraft Stamps. The focal images were stamped multiple times with different inks and pieced together to add a bit of color.

I hope that you will pop on over to see what the rest of the Design Team have dreamed up for you and then create a piece of your own to share with us.  Thanks for stopping by. Yvonne

Trick or Treat!

Greetings! Today is Halloween! I decided to create this card just because it is Halloween. I created the background using Magicals. The images and sentiments are by Oxford Impressions.  The fence is a die by Cherry Lynn Designs. Thanks for stopping by! Yvonne

Octobers

Greetings! The weeks roll by and we are back again with a new challenge over at Inkspirational. This time we are working from the photo below.

I hope that you will pop on over to see all the unique takes by the rest of the Design Team and then consider making one of your own to share with us!

For my own card, I worked for the first time with Infusions by Paper Artsy to create my inky background.  The stamped images are by Artistic Outpost and the sentiment is also by Paper Artsy.

Thanks for stopping by! Best, Yvonne

We always think we'll have TIME!

Greetings! Back with a post for the new challenge over at Fashionable Stamping Challenge where the theme centers around "Time."

I hope that you will stop over to see what the rest of the design team have dreamed up for you and then consider creating a project of your own to share with us.  Please remember that we are a stamping challenge, so stamping needs to be the focal point of your project.  As always, our sponsor at Ink Art Designs will graciously provide a stamp to one lucky participant.

For my own card, I began by spritzing a water color panel with various Distress Ink Sprays.  I then stamped images from Visible Image onto the panel and doodled around the perimeter before matting the panel and adding it to the card front.

Thanks, as always, for stopping by.  Hugs, Yvonne

Happy Halloween!

Greetings! It is time again for a new challenge over at Inkspirational! This time, it's to create a project with just "one layer."

Not sure why, but I find one layer cards extremely challenging! For my own creation, I worked with images by Oxford Impressions.  I colorized with Distress Inks and added a bit of Ranger Stickles and some doodling.  I hope you will stop over to see what the rest of the design team cooked up for you and then create a project of your own to share with us.  Thanks for stopping by! Quoth the Raven

Greetings! I am several days behind in posting my project for the October Challenge over at Eclectic Ellapu.  Life sometimes gets in the way, doesn't it? I am grateful to Elaine for her patience.  The theme this month is: Dark/Dramatic Colors and/or Scary!

I chose to go with scary.  Black birds really creep me out, specifically in the fall. I began with an orange tag from Red Lead Paperworks, stamped the raven and sentiments, which are from Red Lead Paperworks, as well. I used Distress Inks to colorize and distress everything, and then assemble it onto the tag.

We look forward to seeing what you come up with for your own projects! Happy Crafting. Best, Yvonne
