Greetings! Welcome to my followers NEW and OLD! I truly appreciate each one of you. It is hard to believe, but it is time, once again for a new challenge over at Fashionable Stamping Challenge. This time around, the challenge is to create a project around the theme of "Sentimental." After giving this much thought, I decided upon this focal image by Queen's Dresser Drawers, which is extremely sentimental for me. When I first saw the image, I was immediately taken back to my teenage years when my best friend and I walked to school and after school would often stop in down town to window shop, try on clothes and stop for a bowl of chili and a cherry coke! To create my card, I began by marbling a piece of card stock with Rusty Hinge, Mowed Lawn, and Barn Door Distress Paint. The panel was then distressed with Mowed Lawn and Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The image was inked with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink and distressed, as well, with Mowed Lawn and Vintage Photo DI. To the right of the image, the word "Friend" was created from a plate by Artistic Outpost called Secretary Pool. Paper string and a Philosophy Tag by Tim Holtz Idea-ology complete my card.
