Ever After!

Hello!  It has been a bit of crazy week with some family medical issues but I want to drop by tonight with a few posts.  This one is for the current challenge over at Simon Says Stamp and Show called Ever After.  I recently received a new set of stamps by Stampsmith with images and sentiments from The Wizard of Oz and thought they might work for the challenge.  I created grass, flowers and sky line with oil pastels.  The yellow brick road was embossed with a Tim Holtz embossing folder.  The images were stamped on glossy paper and partially tinted with Distress Markers, except for the shoes, which were colored with dark red glitter ink of a Sakura Pen.  Thanks for dropping by.  Best wishes, Yvonne

I love the Wizard of Oz and your project honoring them is way cool! I love it! I love your embossed yellow brick road. What a great way to use Tim's embossing folder! Love the scenes you've created using the oil pastels. Your characters stamps are amazing! I think I may have to check out the Stampsmith! :) Thanks so much for sharing your art with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy

LOVE this movie so much...it would keep my children entertained so I could clean, although I'd find myself watching too! Fabulous images you've chosen and you've captured the spirit perfectly! Thank you for playing with us this week at Simon Says Stamp & Show!
