It's Friday and the weekend has begun! My post today is for several challenges. The first is for Bloggers' Challenge. The theme this week is a color challenge of Red, Black and White. The second challenge is for Gingersnap Creations where the challenge is to create a project with Two Colors Only.I decided to create my card using some of the new images from the Charles and Amelia plate and the Industrial Chic plate from Artistic Outpost. Normally, I would have been inclined to add a bit of color to the images, but for these challenges, that wasn't a viable option. I think the strength of these images stand firm with little to no added colors and keeping them mostly black and white lends a vintage feel to the card. Images were stamped with Black StazOn ink and Barn Red Distress ink and distressed with Black Soot, Worn Lipstick and Barn Red Distress Ink, with the exception of the gears in the background, which were stamped with Cloud White VersaMagic ink.
The plane is attached with pop dots for added dimension an embellishments include re-purposed ribbon, liquid pearls, sprocket from Idealogy, and photo corners from my stash. Hoping you have a fabulous weekend. Best wishes, Yvonne
