Annie Don't Get Your Gun

Hello! Sharing a card with you today for the current Challenge over at Our Creative Corner where the them is "Woody with and Button."  I decided to work with the "Cowgirl Strength" plate from Artistic Outpost.  The focal image was stamped on Sticky Back Canvas and layered over a wood grain embossed panel.  The sentiment was stamped, cut apart and added to the card front. The lace was added for comic relief to the sentiment. Vintage buttons and some burlap string complete my card.  Thanks for dropping by. It means so much to me.  Best wishes, Yvonne

Hahahahaha...I love it!!! Used to be you couldn't get a woman without a club, but it's nice to see that times are a changin'! Your creativity and humor come shining through on this and the woodgrain with the button look fabulous! :)

Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us at Our Creative Corner. Best of luck and we'd love to have you visit again next week!

Hi Yvonne, I love "lace was added for comic relief to the sentiment" Excellent!! And, your card rocks too!

You have really gone cowgirl - fab camouflage and really great shading in the embossing. I salute anyone who can blanket stitch like that. I love those feminine wiles in the fun bunting, buttons and lace. Your card is a superb capture of Annie (and women in general!). Nicola x

I agree about those little embossing folders that I'm just starting to accumulate! I'm cheering on the Cheery Lynn embossing plates as they cover a whole lot more paper. N.
