Beep...Beep

 

Greetings! My post today is for the new challenge over at Inkspirational where are working with the Word Prompt "Urban." 

 

I have been fascinated recently with all the stamps and dies you can purchase around cityscapes! I guess I'm just a city girl at heart! My card was created with Gelatoes and a variety of stamp images from Stampotique. I really had fun with this one! Today is a New Day!

 

Greetings! It is wonderful to be back again, as a design team member at Fashionable Stamping Challenge.  I truly appreciate their patience, as I am finding my way back following my husband passing. 

 

Our new challenge for the next four weeks is "My Favorite Things." Think "Sound of Music" and your favorite stamp, and remember, we are a stamping challenge and we must see stamping as the focal image on your project.  I hope that you will pop on over to see all the various creations the design team have dreamed up to inspire you and that you will consider creating a project of your own to share with us. 

 

For my own piece, I thought of "whiskers on kittens" and chose to use this adorable stamp image by Technique Junkies.  The background panel was done with Gelatoes and then toned down with Gesso.  I stenciled some dots with black embossing paste and splattered some orange paint to add a bit more color.
